  1. Awards Instituted
     
    1. ST. JOSEPH’S CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL, PATNA : An Annual Award for an Inter-School Debate Competition.
      • The Trophy was bagged by the team from St. Joseph’s Convent on October 8, 2007.
      • The Trophy remained with St. Joseph's Convent for 2008.  The Debate Competition was held on 17 October, 2008.
    2. PATNA WOMEN’S COLLEGE : An Annual Award for the Topper in BA (Hons), History.
      •  Ms. Aakanksha Poddar was presented the Award on 25 January 2008.
    3. PATNA UNIVERSITY : An Annual Award for the Topper in MA, History.
      • Ms. Khusboo Singhania was presented the Award on 19 January 2008
      • Ms. Shubhra was presented the Award on 11 December, 2008.
    4. HINDU COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI : An Annual Award for the Topper of MA, History.
      • Ms. Indu S. was presented the Award on 15 February 2008.
    5. GOVT. GIRL'S SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, BANKIPUR, PATNA: An Annual Award for the Topper of Higher Secondary Examination from 2009 to be called 'Purnima Ghosh Award of Excellence
    6. BETHUNE COLLEGE, KOLKATA : An Annual Award for the Topper of B.Sc. Economics from 2009, to be called 'Purnima Ghosh Award of Excellence'.
       

       
  2. Scholarships
     
    1. ST. JOSEPH’S CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL, PATNA : Annual Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to complete Class X. The recipients of the PAPIYA GHOSH SCHOLARSHIPS for the Academic year 2008-09 are Ms. Maitri Chandra, Class V and Ms. Shreya Kumari, Class VI, as selected in consultation with Sister Joyce, the Principal.
    2. PATNA WOMEN’S COLLEGE : Annual Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for the Mass Communications Programme of the College.
    3. ST. MARY'S CONVENT SCHOOL, SANTRAGACHI, HOWRAH (WEST BENGAL) : Annual Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for a student of Class IX to enable her to complete High School, beginning from the Academic Session of 2009.

     

  3. Education Stipends
     
    1. This is to enable selected children to go through complete School education, from KG to High School. It has been started with a Stipend to Deepak Kumar Paswan, who has been enrolled in KG, DPS, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, from January, 2008
    2. 'Financial Assistance provided in July 2008 to Jeshan Kumar, Grandson of Malti Devi, (who was murdered with Papiya Ghosh) for a Diploma Programme in NIIT Patna'. 

     

  4. Family Support Allowances & Pensions to supplement financial resources of
    selected low-income families. These are presently being given to three families in Patna
     
  5. Donations
     
    1. BHARAT SEWASHRAM SANGHA, DELHI, which is engaged, inter-alia, in providing education and health-care to the disadvantaged sections of the society.
    2. MADRASA IMTIAZ-UL-ULOOM MASJID MAJEEDIA, NEW DELHI for its work related, inter-alia, to provide education to the children of the weaker sections of the society, especially from the Minority Community.
    3. MADRASA ARABIA SHAHJAHANIA, NEW DELHI, to provide nutrition support to the children of the deprived sections of the society, especially from the Minority Community.
    4. To Chief Minister Bihar's Relief Fund for Rehabilitation of Flood Victims of North Bihar (September 2008)
    5. Annual Grant made for the Library of Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya, Jagannathpur, Ranchi, Jharkhand, run by Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, for the tribal and marginalized sections of the community, to commemorate the birth Anniversary of Prof. Papiya Ghosh from 8th October, 2008 onwards. (Prof. Ghosh's birth place is Dumka in Jharkhand)
    6. To Andh Maha Vidyalaya, New Delhi for new Uniforms for the children of the Institution, to mark the birth Anniversary of Prof. Papiya Ghosh on 8th October, 2008.
